Kalou available for Ivory Coast (30.05.2005)
Ivory Coast captain Bonaventure Kalou is to miss his club AJ Auxerre`s appearance in Saturday`s French Cup final.
He has been included in coach Henri Michel`s 22-man squad for his country`s World Cup qualifier against Libya on Friday.
Team mate Kanga Akale, however, will be allowed to play against second division Sedan at the Stade de France.
Kalou will join up with the Ivory Coast squad to face Libya in three Group Three qualifier away in Tripoli.
Only Akale will be missing from the squad that beat Benin 3-0 in their last World Cup qualifier in March.
Coach Henri Michel has added two midfielders to the squad in Guy Demel from Borussia Dortmund and Arouna Kone from Dutch club Roda JC Kerkrade while Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has been named despite some concern over a knee injury.
The Ivorians, who lead Group Three by four points and are strongly fancied to qualify for their first World Cup finals, are to train in Rome
