Ivory Coast call up Ndri (10.08.2005)
Midfielder Christian Koffi `Romaric` Ndri is the only new face in the Ivory Coast`s 22-man squad for next week`s friendly against France in Montpellier.
Coach Henri Michel has included the 22-year-old Ndri, recently signed by newly promoted Ligue 1 club Le Mans, to replace the dropped former captain Tchiressoa Guel.
There are 13 French-based players in the squad for the match, which pits former France captain and coach Michel against his native country.
Goalkeeper Gerard Gnanhouan and midfielder Emerse Fae both won caps for France at junior level.
The Ivory Coast stepped in as a late replacement for Senegal for the match on 17 August.
