Cameroon captain Rigobert Song will win his 100th cap if, as expected, he leads the Indomitable Lions against Angola.
Salomon Olembe, who is now playing his football in Qatar, is a doubt for Cameroon in the Group B clash in Cairo.
Angola have lost the services of Gilberto, who has left the squad with an Achilles injury.
Palancas Negras reserve goalkeeper Lama is also unavailable after injuring himself in training in Spain, before the tournament.
