Cameroon Lions ready to roar
Victory over Germany is the target for Cameroon, who lie in second place in the group, behind their opponents on goal difference.
A draw for Cameroon, and Saudi Arabia avoiding defeat to Ireland by two clear goals, would take the Indomitable Lions through.
But coach Winfried Schaefer is confident his side can take all three points.
He said: "This is the first against the second and I like our chances."
Schaefer is a German, but he is not suffering from any conflict of interests ahead of Tuesday`s crucial match.
Neither does he see the contest as a battle between himself and Germany coach Rudi Voeller.
He said: "I`m a Lion now. I have said before that I would have preferred to avoid playing Germany in the first round, but this is not Schaefer against Voeller."
Cameroon, who drew 1-1 with Ireland before struggling to a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, are hoping to repeat their 1990 performance and reach the quarter-finals.
And they have been boosted by defender and captain Rigobert Song`s recovery from a strained right ankle.
Pacy forwards Samuel Eto`o and Patrick Mboma will again lead the attack.
