Senegal`s football fans could be welcoming the continent`s fans in 2010
Senegal has become the latest country to announce its intention to bid for the 2010 African Cup of Nations finals.
The country`s sports minister, El Hadj Daouda Faye, has confirmed that Senegal`s bid would include four separate venues for the 16-team tournament.
Senegal joins a growing list of potential candidates to host the event, in the same year that South Africa hosts the continent`s first ever World Cup finals.
The West African country previously hosted the Nations Cup finals in 1992.
