     Boukar on the move

Cameroon`s goalkeeper Boukar Alioum has become the latestIndomitable Lion to change club in the wake of the World Cup.
The goalkeeper, described by coach Winfried Schafer as the "best in Africa", has signed a three year deal with Turkish club Istanbulspor.

The 32-year-old played 164 matches at the Turkish club since 1995 and also established himself as his country`s number one goalkeeper in that time.
He took part in the last two World Cups and won two African Nations Cup titles.with Cameroon.

The move is a step up for Alioum, whose club narrowly avoided relegation at the end of last season.Istanbulspor finished mid-table.

Alioum had hoped to move to the English premiership but he failed to impress manager kevin Keegan in a trial earlier this year.

After South African midfielder John Moshoeu and Mali`s veteran striker Ferdinand Coulibaly, Alioum is the longest-serving African player in the Turkish league.

His move follows that of fellow Cameroon stars Rigobert Song, Raymond Kalla and Marc-Vivien Foe.

Cameroon captain Song has moved to Lens from English club West Ham after aloan spell in Germany; Kalla has joined VfL Bochum from Spain and Foe is offfor another stint in the English premier league, this time with ManchesterCity.
