FIFA to help National Football Federations (05.03.2002)

The world football governing body FIFA have decided to render financial assistance to at least 30 national football federations so they could buy necessary equipment and modernize their stadiums. Eleven African
federations, eight Asian and six CONCACAF federations will receive FIFA financial assistance.
On the whole, the world football governing body is expected to spend around 150 million euros helping the national football federations.
