Manchester United are preparing a January offer for Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.
United goalkeeper coach Tony Coton has scouted the Cameroon international and is convinced he has seen one of Europe`s best young shot-stoppers.
Kameni is contracted to Espanyol until 2006 and he told
AS:"No club nor any intermediary has called me, but I have heard things about the possibility that Manchester United wants me.
"So if it is that they come to look at me, I think I will say to them that I will not leave. I am a player of Espanyol. I left my previous team to play here and that is what I am doing, reason why I think I will stay."
