METTOMO RETURNS FOR RESERVES (23.02.2002)
Defender, Lucien Mettomo returns to action for the Blues for the first time for seven weeks when he plays in the reserves.
Lucien Mettomo will be in the City second string when they take on Sunderland in the FA Barclaycard Premier reserve League at Hyde United. The game has a seven o`clock kick off.
The Cameroon international is hoping to prove his fitness and return to the starting line up for the clash at the Bescot Stadium on Saturday. His last game in a City shirt was in the New Year`s Day win at Sheffield United before leaving to join up with the Cameroon squad.
He made one appearance in the Africa Nations Cup when he scored in Cameroon`s 3-0 win over Togo, but missed out on the Indomitable Lions march to the final when they retained the trophy.

Christian Mettomo, who both featured in the Cup defeat at Newcastle, are included in the starting line up.
It is a crucial game for the visitors as they can go top if they win tonight while Asa Hartford will be hoping for a reverse in the reserves recent fortunes in the League.
They have taken only one point out of their last four league games and that was in last weeks 2-2 draw at Liverpool. Their form at home has been disappointing where and have not won at Hyde since a Leon Mike hat-trick helped them beat Bradford 4-0 last November.
