Alex Song agrees new long-term Gunners contract (25.11.2009)
Arsenal midfielder Alexandre Song has agreed a new long-term deal with the north London club.
The Cameroon midfielder has been a mainstay of the Gunners’ midfield this season making 17 appearances.
And according to The Sun, the 22-year-old has agreed a new contract at the Emirates that will
keep him at the club until 2015. Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been impressed with the way former Bastia man has emerged as one of the outstanding holding midfielders in the Premier League and the new contract is an indication that the Frenchman sees Song as a key figure in his future plans.
