THE HIDDEN TREASURE IN OUR ELIMINATION FOR GERMANY 2006. (21.10.2005)

Fellow cameroonians,
If we are to be real and embrace the truth,we will find ourselves all prisoners and slaves to poor education and reasoning potentialities.
To begin with,i want to let those unwitty sycophants and impostors to know that "Pride goes before a Fall".The Lions have gone a long way to bring pride to our Nation but this time around,we were destined to fail.He therefore who embraces success must learn to recognise failure when it comes because it is either one and never the two.
To those who applaud the "actors",in the football pitch,i say a special thank you.There is nothing to lament on for we have shown the world our worth and strength.despite our elimination from the soccer giant festival,we still remain the best of African teams alongside Mighty Nigeria another power house of football.Let us learn to call a spade a spade.Let us forget in times like this what has happened in just 90minutes.Our Natin`s fate can be sharppened from experiences as such if we reason wisely.Our elimination is advantagoeus to us at this moment when Africa prepares to host the next Fifa World Cup.As our able Bell Jojo Antoinne said,we need to learn from this elimination and set what is wrong about our National Team and Football in the country,right.This should make us equipe our team with dynamic,young and talented players as many as we can so that when the old ones call off duties,we do not go wanting.We had difficulties and that`s why we have to go beckonning on Kala Raymond and Etame Mayer,because their depature saw no one to match their value.Let us train young players who will take up the challenges of withdrawals and other setbacks from the national team staters.But it doesn`t mean we should not give attension to reasons for withdrawals as our proud and good for nothing leaders have done so far with Etame Lauren who is in his very best of skills in Soccer to contribute to our nation`s maintanance of power in the football world.
We should also learn to prepare valuable replacements for some players who run down the scale in performances.Most importantly,we should at this time try to provide adequate infrastructures to the talented youths who with all enthusiasm want to give best of their services to the Nation not only in Soccer but other sports as well.
It is very regreatable that our country is incapable of hosting an international sports event especially in Football after having been to the world cup fiesta for years,African Nation Cup jamboree and keeping many trophies.It is shameful that with all the applauds and leaurets we have,we can`t even organise the African Cup of Nations whereas countries like Mali,Nigeria,Ghana,Ivory Coast and the other smaller soocer rivals do it times and again.Our elimination therefore is an interval for reflection,calculations,evaluations and actions for a better Cameroon and Lions come 2010.
I am happy at our knock out from the world`s soccer big event because,it will give us time for correction.And if comes 2010,we can be able to speak in public proudly of our capabilities in hosting competitions and taking back our pride in Soccer,then we shall never go above what we have so far achieved.Let the wise sit up and reason with what Joseph Bell Antoinne passed as message and stop considering true patriots like him as oppositions.
Most importantly,coming back to our last match.I believe that every good and attentive cameroonian knows that Pierre Wome has undoubtful skills as any good professional.He has been our glory bringer in times harder than this one that just passed.But being Africans and hypocrites,we didn`t sing his praise ,neither did we contribute to his personal welfare .We are always sharp to criticism
without pointing out corrections.A child who has written his name in books of excellent in the soccer history,today is known to be an orphan and less talented in his own homeland he serves with all strength,patriotism and love.BUT YET OUR INCOMPITENT LEADERS SIT AND SEE HIM SUFFER FROM UNTHINKABLE AND BABARIC ACTIONS FROM UNPATRIOTIC CITIZEN WITH NOTHING TO OFFER OUR NATION.WHAT A DISGRACE?I want to let Wome know that he has been blessed by the divine powers with the skills he has and the Good lord will wipe his tears and will bring him new comforts and loved ones.
If our Nation`s leaders can not sanction such acts and ,cannot compensate people like Wome who suffers personal attacks and family insecurity because of his patriotism and sense of belonging,then honestly we are heading to that era when Africa didn`t know civilasation .
One thing that borders me again is the declaration of of our famous Samuel Eto.It is a disgarace and a lack of reasoning and envy for a high profile professional to speak unwisely.I hold very strongly to the fact that Eto`s arrogance and poor educational background led to such declaration and has contributed very greatly in the attacks suffered by Wome.But judgement is God`s and he will reward each person accordingly.Moreso,i want to ask where( he),Eto was when the Lions were at the brink of the very first phase elimination before the timely rescue of portuguese marabout Arthur Jorge?
Two times African best player and goal merchant in Barcelona 2004 dream team and close to best scorer in the Spanish league,Eto could not make himself head eventhough playing with many players of low profile.Youngsters came from behing him and made themselves known in grand styles yet he couldn`t match up his credits.How many goals did Eto score to see the Lions qualified as one who is sidelined with Andre Shev of AC Milan for the world best 11? The road have been very rough for Eto this time around that he know looks for somewhere to levy excuses for his deteriorating form at the qualifiers.That penalty wasn`t conjured by Eto and he wouldn`t have done any better after numerously proven in his Barca side to be an incompitent penalty shooter.Let us accept our merits and demerits.True Eto has been our one time best like Dr Abega and Rogger Milla but they left the boots and that is why he is today.Eto should accept without any complexe that he has droped very greatly in form and doesn`t have any credits for his participation in the qualifiers.I know it may annoy Eto`s fan but that is the truth.Let us face the truth and act on reasoning rather than emotions and sentiments.Another evidence is that Didier Drogba who Eto defeated at the last two African best award has been consistent in his form and is incontestible.Today,he is best than Eto and some others like Essien,Martins ect have put in very strong challenges for his African best tittle.He should admit this rather than wanting to play with words to win himself another credits.To prove me wrong,let`s wait for the end result of the Champions league,Liga Espaniola and The African Nation Cups .But until then,Eto should accept his position,keep his mouth shout and joinly accept failures as well as victory for the Lions.No matter what Eto may think,his supporters may say,the truth is that Educationally and morally,Eto has been proven to be a misfit.God has blessed you with the talents and skills you have,use them jealously before him and be happy with what you are and have.Allow others use their gifts in the way God too wants.Rather than pointing fingers dear cameroonians,let us learn to console ourselves,strenthen Unity and speak our truth.
We should know that "Tough times never last but tough people do".Wome you are tough and shall last.God bless you.
