Frenchman Claude Leroy was Monday named as the coach of Ghana`s national football team.
Leroy, who beat off competition from compatriot Philippe Troussier and Ghanaian Cecil Jones Attuquayefio, takes over from Serbian Ratomir Dujkovic, who resigned in July
after the Black Stars` successful showing at the FIFA World Cup in Germany.
Leroy`s African coaching resume includes Cameroon, with whom he won the 1988 CAF African Nations Cup, Senegal (1990-92) and most recently the Democratic Republic of Congo.
