Chelsea reached agreement with Real Madrid on Wednesday to sign Cameroon midfielder Geremi and Brazilian star Flavio Conceicao for next season, onefootball.com can reveal.
The deals now hinge on personal terms being settled, with Chelsea directors set for talks with Geremi`s agent Lucidio Ribeiro and Flavio`s representative Miguel Litos.
Geremi will cost Chelsea £7.4 million if the transfer goes through, while Real have consented to Flavio joining the west Londoners on a one-year loan with an option to buy
atthe end.
Free-kick specialist Geremi is with Cameroon at the World Cup, but remains in permanent contact with his agent.
Flavio, meanwhile, is on holiday in Brazil. He would welcome a move to England after missing much of last season and failing to secure guarantees from Real coach Vicente del Bosque about a starting place next campaign.
Chelsea negotiators travel to Barcelona on Monday to tie up the signing of Espanyol striker Quique De Lucas, then will continue for talks with Litos and Ribeiro.
