MADRID, Spain (AP) - FC Barcelona striker Samuel Eto`o has left the hospital where he underwent a brain scan following a training ground accident.
Eto`o, who collided with defender Damian Abella on Friday, will play in the Spanish champion`s league game with Mallorca at Camp Nou on Sunday if he continues to recover, news agency Efe said Saturday, citing club doctor Lluis
Til.
"The advantage is we`ve still got 24 hours to go before the match and, if everything continues as it has, he will be a hundred percent," Til was quoted as saying.
The Cameroon international - Africa`s player of the year for the past two years - took a full part in training on Saturday.
Eto`o scored 24 league goals last season to help Barcelona win its first title in six years.
