Lucien Mettomo´s move from Manchester City to German side Kaiserslautern has fallen through.
The Bundesliga outfit had agreed a fee of £480,000 with City for the 26-year-old Cameroon international defender.
Mettomo signed a four-year deal over the weekend - but
has now returned to Manchester after the deal hit a snag.
The former St Etienne player joined City in 2001 but has made only 31 appearances for the Blues.
He rarely featured last season and came close to joining Wolves earlier this summer.
