Senegal`s contentious friendly in South Korea will definitely go ahead as planned on 8 November, but the Lions` coach Bruno Metsu does not seem too happy about it.
The Senegalese FA has decided to honour its contract for the match, which will take place in the 2002 World Cup venue of Jeonju.
Metsu sees little merit in Senegal`s Far Ear excursion: "It`s going to be a real pain because we will have to endure a ten-hour flight and an eight-hour time difference.
"The only plus point is that we will be playing a World Cup team."
Despite his reservations, Metsu has called up all the regular stars, along with three intriguing additions to the squad.
Leading scorer
The most prominent of these is striker Fary Faye, who last played for Senegal in the 2000
Nations` Cup in Nigeria.
Sarr is rated very higly at Milan
Faye has been on fire for his Portuguese club Beira Mar, and has scored 11 goals in his last 11 games to be the country`s top scorer.
The youngest of the three is AC Milan`s Mohamed Adama Sarr, who is 17 and has only one cap.
He is highly-rated in Italy - where he has already made a £1m move from Treviso - and none other than former Milan and Italy hero Franco Baresi believes Sarr could be "the next Franco Baresi"!
