The skipper of the Indomitable Lions Rigobert Song has moved from Lens, France to Turkish giants, Galatasaray for a fee of about 3 million US dollars.
The club announced that 28-year-old Song has signed a two-year deal, after passing a medical on July 10.
Song is the second Cameroonian to play for Galatasaray, after Saidou Alliuom, former player with Coton Sport Garoua and captain of the national Olympic team.

The former Tonerre Yaounde player started his professional career with French club Metz in 1994 and has had spells with Middlebrough in England and FC Köln in Germany.
He has captained Cameroon to two African Cup of Nations wins in 2000 and 2002 and played in the 1994, 1998 and 2002 World Cup finals.
Galatasaray officials say Song will play a big role in the club’s defence line during their European Champions League campaign in the new season.
