The President of the Liberian FA, Edwin Snowe, says he is urging Fifa to investigate bribery allegations between Nigeria and Ghana during qualifying for the 2002 World Cup.
Ghana`s FA Chairman Ben Koufie has admitted that $25,000 changed hands after the Black Stars lost 3-0 to Nigeria in Port Harcourt in July.
The Nigerians say the money was given as a gift by the Governor of River State.
Snowe said, "We heard the news on the BBC that money changed hands between the two sides.
We were shocked by the Ghanaian performance against Nigeria

"This confirms our earlier fears that Nigeria and Ghana would connive to kick Liberia from the World Cup race.
"The LFA will be meeting soon to take the necessary action to have Fifa launch an investigation."
Liberia were top of their qualifying group and were heading towards their first ever World Cup.

But they lost their way with a 2-1 home defeat to Ghana which left them relying on other results to qualify.
Liberia needed Ghana to get at least a draw in their match with Nigeria.
All above-board
But the Super Eagles cruised to an easy win, scoring their first goal after just one minute of play.
It meant Nigeria topped the group by a single point over Liberia.
"We were shocked by the Ghanaian performance against Nigeria", said Snowe.
"I am aware that our protest will not change the fact that Nigeria have qualified for the World Cup.
"But it should go down in record that an inquiry was set up to discipline the two teams".
Ben Koufie says he has been open about the money, which was a gesture of hospitality for the team, officials and journalists.
And he says the Liberians received a similar hospitality package, though Snowe denies this.
