"This is a very important training camp as we are preparing for a crucial match. The encounter against Côte d’Ivoire would determine, to a very large extend, the team in Group Three that might finally make it to the world cup next year. We will take out training seriously and put in all our effort in the friendly match of tomorrow. We will also watch the France — Côte d’Ivoire friendly match tomorrow very closely. So, although our performance has improved considerably in the last three
matches, we still have to work harder so as to continue improving on our results. It is true that we have new players in the group and that at times it is difficult to have cohesion between the old and new players. I however hope that during this training camp, and the one on the eve of the match, the team will have the desired cohesion to produce good results. Actually, we are not afraid of Côte d’Ivoire. It is true that it is a difficult encounter. But we are ready to get good results in Abidjan".
