Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard selected midfielder Lionel Messi for yesterday`s 2-2 draw with Real Zaragoza.
Barca were keen to field Messi in Liga action, but a dispute over his registration status could be challenged in the courts by rival Spanish clubs.
