Cameroon announce World Cup pre-squad (08.05.2002)
YAOUNDE
A 29-man World Cup pre-squad of reigning Olympic and African champions Cameroon was announced by the country`s sports ministry here on Tuesday.
The `Indomitable Lions` are due to be welcomed in capital Yaounde by Prime Minister Peter Mafany Musonge next Wednesday before an exhibition match at the Yaounde stadium.
Two days later on May 17 they meet Denmark in a World Cup warm-up in Copenhagen.
The West African country are in first round Group E with Germany, Republic of Ireland and Saudi Arabia at the May 31 to June 30 finals.
