Portsmouth have completed the signing of Cameroon international midfielder Valery Mezague on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old, who currently plays for French side Montpellier, has joined Pompey on a deal which gives them an option to buy at the end of
the season.
"He is a really strong young midfield player who will add strength in that department," said boss Harry Redknapp.
"He`d add competition to the middle and we`d look strong when Amdy Faye and Aliou Cisse are available again."
