The hosts South Africa still have to win a match in the under-23 eight nation tournament currently under way. Amaglug-glug narrowly lost 3-2 to Cameroon who were also desperate to win today`s encounter.
South Africa are third in Group A with only a single point after two games.Cameroon were denied by the crossbar on two occasions in the first half but took the lead in the 34th minute.
Clive Moyo-Modise equalised for the hosts four minutes before the break.
However, the visitors got a well-deserved lead on the stroke of half-time. The home side drew level through Bongani Mbhele. South Africa looked promising in the closing stages but it was the visitors who scored the winner 16 minutes from time.
