This season was not particularly spectacular for Cameroon’s keeper, Idris Carlos Kameni. His club, Espanyol Barcelona fought hard to escape relegation. King Juan Carlos of Spain attended the game at Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid and handed the trophy to the winners. The Cup success is Espanyol’s second this decade and guarantees them UEFA cup football competition next season.
