Lions bonuses for futrure expeditions made public (11.10.2001)
After the first grouping of the Lions in Germany under Winfried Schafer, Cameroon’s Minister of sports made public the amount each player would earn for participating in the tournament in Mali and Japan-South Korea respectively.
According to the partition for the African Nations Cup, each player would earn;
-7.000.000 frs CFA for participation,
-4.000.000frs CFA for match won in the first round,

-5.000.000frs CFA for the quarter-finals,
-semi-final 6.000.000frs CFA and
-8.000.000frs CFA for the finals
For the World Cup competition;
15.000.000frs CFA for participation
-5.000.000frs CFA for match won in the first round
