A teenage girl has been knocked down by a car driven by Manchester United star Eric Djemba-Djemba. The girl was hurt as she crossed Rochdale Road in Harpurhey, Greater Manchester on Sunday evening.
Greater Manchester Police say that "no dangerous driving was involved".
The girl was taken to Manchester’s Booth Hall Hospital following the accident. Manchester United say the player "stands ready" to help police.

Officers expect to speak to the 22-year-old star in the next few days, but say it is a formality.
They are investigating reports that the teenager stepped out into the road without spotting Djemba-Djemba’s Lincoln Navigator 4x4.
A Manchester United spokesman said : "Eric Djemba-Djemba was involved in an incident on Sunday evening.
"He reported it immediately to the emergency services and stands ready to help the police."
