Cameroon international Pierre Wome has joined Werder Bremen from Inter Milan on a free transfer, the German club announced on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old defender has signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
He made 12 Serie A appearances
for Inter last season and played in seven Uefa Champions League matches.
Wome, who has played for Cameroon 67 times and scored five goals, missed a penalty against Egypt that stopped the Indomitable Lions from making a fifth consecutive appearance at the World Cup.
