Cameroon defender Thimothee Atouba is eligible to train at SV Hamburg again after the German Bundesliga club on Monday lifted a suspension.
Hamburg said that Atouba met with Hamburg sports director Dietmar Beiersdorfer on Sunday to sort out the trouble he has been in over the past weeks.
Atouba was suspended in December after making an obscene gesture at fans during a match.
He was then kicked out of a training camp in Dubai after criticizing club officials for having to be at the camp despite injury.
Atouba is now eligible to play in Wednesday`s league match with Energie Cottbus, where second from bottom Hamburg are desperately in need of a win.
