Tunisians entrust national team to Javier Clemente (18.10.2001)

Federation of Tunisian Football (FTF) took a decision to entrust Javier Clemente the reins of government of the national team of the country. Clemente will lead the team to the 2002 World Cup. African Nations Cup will start in January that will be a good test before the World Cup. Yesterday FTF
general secretary Boubaker Bin Jerad informed the AS Spanish newspaper correspondent that Clemente`s agent has already received a concrete offer. Discontent among the coaches of this African country compelled the FTF board to appoint their compatriot as the assistant coach of the national team.
