Tottenham midfielder Thimothee Atouba has been cleared of violent conduct at a Football Association hearing.
Atouba was charged by the FA for an incident during the win at Blackburn on Saturday - where he appeared to make off-the-ball contact with Paul Dickov.
But a disciplinary panel found the Cameroonian not guilty and he will now not be forced to serve a suspension.
The
news comes as a boost to Spurs boss Martin Jol who has seen injury problems mount up at White Hart Lane this week.
Atouba has played the last few games at left-back due to Erik Edman`s injury, but the Swede`s return should see Atouba play in his usual position at left-wing.
Atouba, 22, joined Spurs on a free transfer from FC Basle in August and has made 11 appearances this season.
