The Cameroon international failed to report to Zürich on Thursday, where HSV were playing a UEFA Cup tie, and had been told he must train alone until further notice.
But now it appears things have changed.

The African star has undergone an operation he required but appears to have patched up his differences with boss Huub Stevens. The Dutch boss has said that Atouba will now be able to rejoin his teammates in training once he has recovered from the surgical procedure. "He has had his punishment," added Stevens, referring to Atouba`s €80,000 fine.
