Marseille are poised to complete the signing of Cameroon midfielder Modeste M`Bami from Paris Saint Germain.
The combative midfielder had reportedly been keen on a switch to the Premiership or Spain but is now set to continue his career in France with the current table-toppers in Ligue 1.
Marseille have agreed a
dealwith PSG, believed to be around ?2.5m, and are currently involved in negotiations with the player.
M`Bami is set to undergo a medical at the Stade Velodrome and is expected to put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal.
"Marseille and Paris Saint Germain have found an agreement for the Modeste M`Bami transfer," read a statement on Marseille`s official website.
