African footballer-2001 favourite: Samuel Kuffour (20.11.2001)

The title of the best African footballer of 2001shall be decided before the end of November by the votes of Technical & Media committee members of CAF. The three nominees shall be announced in December, while the winner shall be known in March/April 2002 during the African Soccer Awards ceremony. The main favorites for the title is Ghanian international Samuel Kuffourr who has become the European Champions League and Germany Bundesliga winner in 2001with Bayern Munich.
